Thailand has a total surface of 514,000 km2, and is a veritable crossroads at the heart of South
East Asia. The Thai have developed their dynamic commercial agriculture and
powerful fishing fleet, and have succeeded in imposing Thailand as a major
destination for tourists. Its agricultural economy has become a major exporting
factor with a yearly production of nearly 22 million tons of rice, making it the
world's leading exporter. With a catch of more than 3.5 tons, Thailand is among
the world's ten main suppliers of sea produce. Bangkok Airport makes Thailand
Asia's second tourist centre, with more than 5 million visitors every
year.
SDV
Thailand was created in 1999 to gain presence in the Asian crossroads, then, in
such a dynamic economic context, successively opened three offices in 2000,
2001, and 2002, to be able to offer 360° proximity
services.
